Duke Collection by Wintons Teak
Another timeless design feature of the Duke outdoor dining table is the use of the mitre joint to connect the tabletop frame. The distinct 45° angle of the mitre joint covers the end grain of each table frame, which differs from a perpendicular joint, where only one end grain of the tabletop is covered. As such, a mitre joint greatly reduces the risk of end checks (end checks refers to the natural appearance of hairline cracks on the end grain of timber due to the surface of the wood drying faster than the core of the wood), even after years of ongoing exposure to the weather.
Crafted from solid a-grade teak with rust-free hardware, the Duke outdoor dining table requires no maintenance and is the best solution for outdoor areas that are exposed to marine environments.
